Since its inception, men have dominated the legal profession. However, as the 21st century began, women all over the world began to change the narrative. Women in law are making significant progress and occupying important positions today. Samira Abdul-Azeez is one of these women.
Samira Abdul-Azeez is a dual-qualified lawyer, having been trained and licensed to practice in both Ghana and The Gambia. She is a corporate/ transactional lawyer who primarily works in Business & Commerce.
She graduated from Queens University and has a certificate in international human rights from Fordham University’s law school, as well as a certification in general intellectual property. She provides excellent solutions both locally and internationally as a well-connected attorney.
Samira is currently pursuing an Executive Master of Business Administration at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration as a lover of knowledge with a desire to better herself in order to better serve her clients (GIMPA).
Samira works as the General Counsel for one of Ghana’s largest conglomerates. She believes that; sometimes our strength isn’t a big fiery flame for all to see, but rather a tiny spark whispering softly, “You got this, keep going.”
Her persistence has clearly paid off.
